2008 Sunday morning worship changes
Beginning in January 2008, FBC-R will adjust the Sunday morning schedule back to a single worship service format. New to the morning line-up is 9 am Coffee Fellowship time in Fultz Hall. This will be a time to gather to visit with friends and share a cup of coffee with friends before Sunday School hour begins.
Sunday School programs will begin at 9:30 am and typically release at 10:30 am in time to move to the sanctuary for the worship time.
A single worship service will be offered at 10:45 am, combining what had been referred to as the Classic and Celebration worship services.

Core Values of Our Faith:
There are copies of the document Core Values of Our Faith on the table in Fultz Hall. This document comes from much prayer, discussion, and preparation on the part of teh Deacons and Pastor. This is intended to be a basis for teaching and passing our values to future generations. The document is not being presented as a constitutional amendment, but as an official statement of our common values. This has been unanimously accepted by the Deacons and the Church Council and will be presented to the congregation for affirmation. Please feel free to read the document here, or pick up a copy of the document at the church.
Care Packages
The Deaconess Board is getting ready to send out care packages to our military and college students once again. Please provide addresses for these individuals to the church office to insure your loved one receives a packages. Email Jane.
Family Meal Program:
The Christian Education Board will be offering a light meal on Wednesday nights before student programming. The meal will be served from 5:15 pm to 5:45 pm. A $1.00 donation per person is suggested and $5.00 per family. If you are interested in making a meal or helping with the program, please contact Ellie Masengale at 893-4869 or call the church office.
Let There Be Light:
Phase I is completed and we are ready for Phase II. The Sanctuary Removation Committee is looking to replace the old light fixtures in the sanctuary with beautiful new fixtures with florescent lighting. This will be a tremendous upgrade. We are also looking for a dimmer panel to accent the lighting. This would make the sanctuary brighter, cooler and more efficient. This project will cost approximately $41,500.00 for lights and installation. We will not start this project until the funds are collected. We ask for your prayers and support. Sincerely, Renovation Committee.
